Twice a year, students from Heartwood Guitar Instruction, Seattle Bass Lessons, and Red Sparkle Drum Studio have the opportunity to perform in the “Coffee Shop Jam”. They can choose to play a solo set, team up with other students, or have the teacher-filled “house band” accompany them. In some cases, several members of the same family all take lessons and have the chance to perform together as a family band. The Jam is a great exhibition of student talent and celebration of achievement. The Q Café provided a great home for the Jam this Spring.
